Abstract

Zusammenfassung Digitalisierung bedeutet auf einer grundlegenden Ebene, die Unternehmensprozesse weitestgehend systembasiert abzubilden und dabei zu optimieren und zu automatisieren. Um eine Digitalisierung zu erreichen, müssen Maßnahmen auf unterschiedlichen Ebenen geplant und umgesetzt werden, etwa im Hinblick auf Organisation, Systeme, Prozesse, Daten oder Mitarbeiter. Der digitale Reifegrad dient zu Beginn der Digitalisierungsaktivitäten als Indikator für die Fähigkeit des Unternehmens, geeignete Maßnahmen zu erkennen und umzusetzen. Im Verlauf der Digitalisierung dient er gleichermaßen als Messgröße für die erfolgreiche Umsetzung der erforderlichen Maßnahmen.
