Abstract

Zusammenfassung Während bis etwa 2010 Cloud Computing im Business-to-Business (B2B)-Bereich kaum eine Rolle spielte und meist nur mit der Dateiablage im Internet assoziiert wurde, hat sich die Nutzung seither grundlegend gewandelt. Das Marktwachstum war mit durchschnittlich fast 50 % pro Jahr rasant, sodass sich standardisierte und nutzungsabhängige IT-Leistungen schnell etablierten. Heute sind Cloud-Technologien als zentrales Element der IT-Infrastruktur im B2B-Bereich nicht mehr wegzudenken. Im Facility Management sorgen SaaS-Lösungen – z. B. in Form von cloudbasierten CAFM-Systemen – für einen schnellen und standardisierten Einstieg, wobei sich etablierte Best Practices durchsetzen. Diese Lösungen ermöglichen nicht nur den effizienten Datenaustausch durch standardisierte Schnittstellen, sondern öffnen auch die Tür zu innovativen FM-Dienstleistungen, die mit herkömmlichen IT-Systemen kaum realisierbar wären.
