Abstract

Zusammenfassung Ich ging früher davon aus, dass die meisten Bewerber und insbesondere Jobcoaches in der Lage seien, hochwertige und ansprechende Lebensläufe zu erstellen; leider sehe ich häufig den Gegenbeweis. Immer wieder bin ich im Rahmen meiner Tätigkeit auf Jobmessen unterwegs und arbeite mit im Bewerbungsmappen-Check; einige Bewerber kommen zusammen mit ihren Lehrern oder Dozenten und Betreuern aus Weiterbildungs- und Qualifizierungsmaßnahmen. Von wenigen Ausnahmen abgesehen wiesen alle Lebensläufe Verbesserungspotenzial, mindestens die Hälfte der vorgelegten Unterlagen sogar erhebliche Mängel auf. Unterschätzen Sie bitte nicht die Bedeutung eines Lebenslaufes. Ein sauber ausgearbeiteter Lebenslauf ist wichtiger als Arbeitszeugnisse und Zertifikate. Es gibt eine Vielzahl von Möglichkeiten, einen Lebenslauf zu gestalten. Letztendlich muss sich auch der Lebenslauf an den Bedürfnissen des Arbeitgebers ausrichten. In der Regel interessieren sich Arbeitgeber für die Tätigkeiten, die zuletzt ausgeübt wurden. Daher empfehle ich den amerikanischen Stil, bei dem unter den Kontaktdaten die Berufspraxis chronologisch rückwärts aufgeführt wird.
