Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das Berichtswesen ist die entscheidende Aufgabe des Controllings. Mag auch viel von strategischen Aufgaben und Business-Partnerschaft, vom Navigator und Rationalitätssicherer die Sprache sein, bleibt der Arbeitsalltag des Controllers vom Berichtswesen geprägt, nimmt diese Aufgabe den größten Umfang in Anspruch. Viele Konzepte wurden in der Vergangenheit entwickelt, als Lösung präsentiert, um dann wieder in der Versenkung zu verschwinden. Ein typisches Beispiel ist das Online Analytical Processing (OLAP): Das Ziel war es, durch multidimensionale Betrachtung dieser Daten ein entscheidungsunterstützendes Analyseergebnis zu erhalten. Vor über 10 Jahren gewann das Konzept an Popularität, ist aber sanft entschlafen. Aktuelle Veröffentlichungen zur Digitalisierung erwähnen diesen Begriff nicht mehr.
