Abstract

Zusammenfassung Für die Zukunft sind das weitgehende Zusammenwachsen und die Abstimmung der Energieinfrastrukturen für die drei Anwendungsbereiche allgemeine Elektrizitätsversorgung, Gebäudeheizung und Automobil relevant. Auf der Erzeugungsseite läuft dies zum einen auf eine regenerative und brennstofffreie Stromerzeugung hinaus, zum anderen auf eine Ergänzung um eine hocheffiziente gasbasierte Erzeugung (GuD-Kraftwerke), teils auch gekoppelte Varianten, sowie die Abwärmenutzung im Gebäudebereich. Außerdem geht es bei den Anwendungssektoren um die Substitution des direkten Kraftstoffeinsatzes in Fahrzeugen mit Verbrennungsmotoren durch Varianten der Elektromobilität sowie des Brennstoffeinsatzes zu Heizzwecken durch Elektrowärmepumpen. Dies ist mit einer starken Transformation in diesen Anwendungsfelder und entsprechenden gesellschaftlichen Diskussionen verbunden. Es geht um die Sektorkopplung und Hybridisierung der Energieversorgung.
