Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Einführung von Building Information Modeling (BIM) und digitalen Tools im Bauwesen bringt sowohl enorme Chancen als auch große Herausforderungen mit sich. Durch die nahezu täglich voranschreitende Digitalisierung wächst das Portfolio an unterstützenden Tools sowie die Möglichkeit die BIM-Methodik noch intensiver zu nutzen. Artikel in Fachzeitschriften, Vorträge bei BIM-Veranstaltungen und thematisch breit gefächerte Anfragen von Start-Ups überschwemmen die Bauindustrie und führen zu unterschiedlichsten Vorstellungen, was BIM leisten kann und was die tägliche Arbeit im Zeitalter der Digitalisierung erleichtert oder nur noch komplizierter macht.
