Abstract

Zusammenfassung Generell soll durch Data Governance die Verwaltung, Nutzung und Sicherung von Daten innerhalb eines Unternehmens/einer Organisation sichergestellt werden. Dies geschieht durch die Implementierung von Richtlinien, Definition von Prozessen und Festlegung von Standards, die dafür sorgen sollen, dass die entsprechenden Daten sicher, zuverlässig und konsistent verwendet werden. Besonders für Rechtsabteilungen ist aufgrund der Sensibilität und Vertraulichkeit der täglich verwendeten Daten/Dokumente eine funktionierende Data Governance besonders wichtig. Dementsprechend ist für Rechtsabteilungen eine effektive Data Governance notwendig, um die Einhaltung von gesetzlichen Vorschriften sicherzustellen und eine hohe Qualität zu garantieren.
