Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der vorliegende Beitrag stellt eine heute gängige Definition der Entrepreneurial Finance vor und geht auf die wesentlichen Inhalte und Phänomene ein. Der angeführte allgemeine Begriff knüpft dabei an die Finanzierung von Wachstum nicht-börsennotierter Unternehmen an und geht explizit über die Gründungsfinanzierung im engeren Sinne hinaus. In Anlehnung an diese Definition strukturiert der vorliegende Beitrag das Feld der Entrepreneurial Finance anhand zwei relevanter Dimensionen. Zentrale Begriffe und Phänomene des Bereichs werden zum einen entlang des Unternehmenslebenszyklus verortet und zum anderen aus den Perspektiven involvierter Akteure (d. h. Unternehmer, Investor und Anleger) beleuchtet.
