Abstract

Zusammenfassung Unter dem Stichwort Innovationsmanagement wird im vorliegenden Beitrag auf drei zentrale Aspekte eines modernen Innovationsmanagements eingegangen: Öffnung, Customization und Digitalisierung. Im Detail wird bei der Betrachtung der Öffnung von Innovationsprozessen auf den damit verbundenen Paradigmenwandel eingegangen, die möglichen Vor- und Nachteile sowie das Beispiel der Open Source Softwareentwicklung. Die Betrachtung von Customization geht vom Spannungsfeld zwischen Standardisierung und Individualisierung aus und führt insbesondere zu einer Auseinandersetzung mit der Wissens-Absorptionsfähigkeit von Unternehmen, d. h. der Fähigkeit, externes Wissen aufzunehmen und zu verarbeiten. Die Diskussion der Unterstützung der Innovationswertschöpfung durch Digitalisierung mündet in der Betrachtung innovativer Geschäftsmodelle sowie von Methoden und Werkzeugen zur Unterstützung des Innovationsprozesses.
