3D-Drucken: Gründungsidee und Werkzeug für Entrepreneure

Abstract

Zusammenfassung 3D Drucker haben etwa 40 Jahre nach ihrer Markteinführung als Generative Fertigungsanlagen oder Rapid Prototyping Anlagen einen festen Platz in der industriellen Produktentwicklung und zunehmend auch in der Produktion. Für Privatleute und Kleinunternehmen, also auch für Entrepreneure waren sie bislang zu aufwendig und zu teuer. Seit einiger Zeit stehen kleine, einfach zu handhabende und preiswerte Fabber für Jedermann zu Verfügung. Vor allem Entrepreneure haben damit ein Werkzeug, mit dessen Hilfe sie ihre Geschäftsidee darstellen und nachvollziehbar demonstrieren können. Der Artikel befasst sich mit den Anwendungsgebieten, Möglichkeiten und Grenzen der Verfahren und erläutert sie dazu. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Anwendung, die mit vielen Beispielen illustriert wird. Neben dem Einsatz der gedruckten Bauteile wird auch der Drucker selbst als Geschäftsidee diskutiert und Auswirkungen der Drucker auf unsere Arbeits- und Lebensformen angerissen. Ein Blick auf sich entwickelnde Anwendungen der 3D Drucker schließt den Beitrag ab.
