Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Nutzung von Künstlicher Intelligenz (KI) im Geschäftsprozessmanagement hat in den letzten Jahren rasant zugenommen. Unternehmen setzen zunehmend auf leistungsfähige KI-Modelle, um Prozesse zu optimieren, Entscheidungen zu unterstützen und innovative Lösungen zu entwickeln [1]. Derzeit sind viele dieser Anwendungen kostengünstig nutzbar, und verursachen nur indirekte Kosten – etwa durch den Zeitaufwand der Mitarbeitenden für die Erstellung und Anpassung von Prompts. Diese Situation könnte sich jedoch ändern, wenn Anbieter von LLMs ihre Preismodelle anpassen und künftig auf eine Abrechnung pro Nutzungseinheit, also pro Prompt und Zeichenlänge, umstellen. In einem solchen Szenario würden die Kosten für qualitativ hochwertige KI-Modelle erheblich steigen, was Unternehmen dazu zwingen würde, ihre Nutzung zu optimieren.
