Abstract

Zusammenfassung In den letzten zwei Jahrzehnten wurden Agilität und Selbstorganisation als Erfolgsrezepte für die Arbeitswelt von morgen gefeiert. Doch die Realität zeigt: Viele Organisationen scheitern an ihrer Umsetzung. Der anfängliche Hype weicht einer Phase der Ernüchterung. Chaos, Überforderung und Vertrauensverlust sind häufige Folgen missverstandener Selbstorganisation. Warum ist das so? Dieses Kapitel analysiert die Grenzen agiler Ansätze und zeigt anhand des Freiburger Modells für zukunftsfähige Organisationen, dass Agilität nur dann wirksam ist, wenn sie mit Sinn, Vertrauen und klaren Rahmenbedingungen ausbalanciert wird. Anhand wissenschaftlicher Studien, konkreter Praxisbeispiele und vier zentraler Hypothesen wird deutlich, weshalb kollektive Ausrichtung, stabile Beziehungen und gezielte Verantwortung wichtige Voraussetzungen für funktionierende Selbstorganisation sind und wie Agilität dadurch zu einem echten Hebel für Resilienz, Innovation und Zukunftsfähigkeit werden kann.
