Abstract

Zusammenfassung Studien zeigen, dass etwa 70 Prozent der Mitarbeitenden wenig bis nicht motiviert ihrer Arbeit nachgehen. Fatal ist, dass sie unter ihrem eigenen Disengagement »leiden«. Aber warum sind Unternehmer glücklicher, obwohl sie mehr und härter arbeiten? Dieses Kapitel beleuchtet das Phänomen der »Ownership-Kultur« und zeigt, wie das Prinzip des »sich zu eigen Machens« auch in Unternehmen zu mehr Motivation und Engagement führt. Anstatt Arbeit und Leben als Gegensätze zu betrachten, sind ein neuer Blickwinkel auf die Arbeitswelt und eine Neudefinition unserer Arbeitshaltung nötig.
