Abstract

Zusammenfassung Pflege und soziale Arbeit stehen aufgrund des demografischen Wandels, des Fachkräftemangels und der steigenden Anforderungen vor sehr großen Herausforderungen. Künstliche Intelligenz (KI) wird als vielversprechende Lösung betrachtet, um Arbeitsprozesse zu automatisieren, Entscheidungsfindungen zu unterstützen und personalisierte Ansätze zu ermöglichen. Besonders in der Verwaltung und der Datenanalyse können KI-Systeme Fachkräfte entlasten, während KI-basierte Robotik physische Unterstützung bieten kann. Gleichzeitig wird kontrovers diskutiert, ob KI eine Entmenschlichung der Pflege begünstigt und wie ethische sowie rechtliche Risiken, etwa im Datenschutz, adressiert werden können. Die Einführung von KI wird maßgeblich von politischen Institutionen, Pflegeeinrichtungen und innovativen Start-ups vorangetrieben, wobei geistige Eigentumsrechte eine entscheidende Rolle für den Schutz und die Verwertung von Innovationen spielen. Um das Potenzial von KI vollständig zu nutzen, bedarf es einer strategischen Zusammenarbeit aller Akteure. KI kann die Pflege und soziale Arbeit nachhaltig verändern, indem sie Fachkräften mehr Zeit für den direkten Kontakt mit den ihnen anvertrauten Menschen verschafft.
