Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Internationalisierung ist als Teil der Unternehmensentwicklung von KMU allgegenwärtig. 96 % aller Exportunternehmen sind KMU. Aufgrund ihrer Besonderheiten sind KMU schnelle und agile Player auf den internationalen Märkten, ihre Größe macht sie hingegen schneller anfällig für negative Entwicklung in ihren Märkten und für die Einflüsse der Globalisierung. Aus den praktischen Erfahrungen wird aufgezeigt, welche Herausforderungen sich für KMU bei einer Internationalisierung stellen und wie ihre Führungskräfte den damit verbundenen Chancen und Risiken systematisch und erfolgreich begegnen können.
