Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das Kapitel beschreibt die Internationalisierung eines deutschen Beratungsunternehmens in die Schweiz und nach Österreich. Es beleuchtet die strategischen Beweggründe, die operative Umsetzung – von Standortwahl über Rechtsform bis zur Personalauswahl – sowie die Herausforderungen beim Markteintritt. Trotz anfänglicher Chancen erwies sich die Expansion als Fehlschlag, bedingt durch mangelnde Marktanalyse, unpassende Personalentscheidungen und begrenzte Ressourcen. Die Aktivitäten wurden nach kurzer Zeit eingestellt. Abschließend werden sieben zentrale Fehler reflektiert, die als Lernimpulse für andere Unternehmen dienen sollen.
