Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieses Kapitel befasst sich mit Entwicklungen in der Nachhaltigkeitsberichterstattung zum Thema Emissionen. Die Lufthansa Group wird beispielhaft betrachtet: Das Unternehmen veröffentlichte zwischen 2007 und 2019 13 eigenständige Berichte. Die Berichte werden in einer Inhaltsanalyse untersucht, die sich am Vorgehen Mayrings orientiert. Hierbei wird zum Aufbau des deduktiven Kategoriensystems der Standard GRI 305: Emissionen genutzt, der Unternehmen in der Berichterstattung von verschiedenen Emissionsgruppen unterstützt. So sollen Erkenntnisse gesammelt werden, welche Schwerpunkte in der Berichterstattung gesetzt werden, wie sich die Menge an Informationen zu den unterschiedlichen Kategorien über den Beobachtungszeitraum verändert hat, und welche Kategorien möglicherweise auch zukünftig an Bedeutung gewinnen könnten. Dabei stellt die sektorspezifische Betrachtung im Längsschnitt einen Mehrwert für das Forschungsgebiet dar.
