Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das Wissenschafts- und Kongresszentrum Darmstadt hat sich als Vorreiter in der Umsetzung nachhaltiger Praktiken etabliert. Mit der EMASplus-Zertifizierung verbindet das darmstadtium ökologische, ökonomische und soziale Verantwortung zu einem integrierten Managementsystem. Dieser Beitrag beleuchtet das Managementsystem EMASplus und dessen erfolgreiche Implementierung im darmstadtium, welches kontinuierlich seine Umweltleistungen verbessert, innovative Technologien einsetzt und sich als nachhaltiger Veranstaltungsort ständig weiterentwickelt.
