Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das vorliegende Kapitel beschreibt die Einführung der neuen staatlichen Umweltauszeichnung für Veranstaltungen, des sog. „Blauen Engels für Veranstaltungen“, die seit Januar 2025 beantragt werden kann. Er zeichnet das Zusammenspiel mehrerer beteiligter Akteure bei der Planung und Durchführung von nachhaltigen Veranstaltungen aus, wird unabhängig geprüft und unterscheidet sich somit von existierenden Umweltmanagementsystemen, die zumeist nur eine einzelne Firma bewerten. Das Kapitel gibt einen Überblick über die Kriterien zur Zertifizierung und erläutert die Vorteile der neuen Auszeichnung.
