Abstract

Zusammenfassung Ansgar Zerfaß ist kein Freund großer Worte. Wer je das Vergnügen hatte – wie das den Autoren jeden Dienstagsmorgen vergönnt war – einer Sitzung mit dem Jubilar beiwohnen zu dürfen, weiß eines: klein ist der Redeanteil, groß der Beitrag. In diesem aphoristischen Geiste wollen die Autoren den Versuch unternehmen, den gegenwärtigen Stand der Ansgar-Forschung in äußerster Kürze zu umreißen. Auch ein Ausblick, notwendig gedrängt, soll gegeben werden. Der Beitrag endet schließlich mit dem Versuch einer kritischen Bewertung, welche die Fruchtbarkeit unserer Überlegungen zeigen soll.
