Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Geldgeschichte verdeutlicht, dass kulturelle und technologische Entwicklungen den Hauptcharakter des Geldes geprägt haben. Die wirtschaftlichen und technologischen Entwicklungen der letzten beiden Jahrhunderte wurden von Joseph Schumpeter (1987) in einen theoretischen Mantel gekleidet. An dieser Stelle sollen ein paar Hauptaspekte seiner „Theorie der wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung“ dargelegt werden:
