Abstract

Zusammenfassung Innerhalb von Polizeieinsätzen zählt der kompetente Umgang mit Menschen in psychischen Krisensituationen zu den besonders kritischen Tätigkeiten. Diese Interaktionen stellen spezifische Herausforderungen dar. Das Einsatztraining ist ein wesentlicher Bestandteil zur Sicherstellung der Einsatzbereitschaft von Polizeibeamtys. Der Artikel thematisiert, wie der Constraints-led Approach (CLA) als innovativer trainingspädagogischer Ansatz zur Vorbereitung von Polizeibeamtys auf den Umgang mit Personen mit psychischer Beeinträchtigung genutzt werden kann. Der Fokus liegt dabei auf der Gestaltung realistischer und repräsentativer Lernumgebungen, die Raum geben für eine hohe time-on-task, situativ-angemessene Lösungsfindung, Perspektivwechsel sowie einen konstruktiven Umgang mit Fehlern.
