Abstract

Zusammenfassung Ein wichtiger Aspekt polizeilicher Arbeit ist der Umgang mit komplexen und dynamischen Situationen. Dazu zählen häufig auch Interaktionen mit psychisch kranken bzw. auffälligen Personen. Der vorliegende Beitrag beschäftigt sich zum einen mit der Frage, wie aus psychologischer Perspektive Lernprozesse gestaltet werden müssen, damit unter diesen Umständen eine nachhaltige Kompetenzentwicklung erreicht werden kann. Hierfür wird das problembasierte Lernen mittels Videoszenarien vorgestellt. Zum anderen wird betrachtet, welchen Nutzen Videoszenarien auch für die Qualitätsentwicklung innerhalb polizeilicher Bildungsarbeit haben können. Hierzu wurde eine Befragung durchgeführt, die ergab, dass zwischen Lehrenden an einer polizeilichen Bildungseinrichtung ad hoc nur wenig Einigkeit in Bezug auf die Gesamtbeurteilung des polizeilichen Vorgehens in drei Videoszenarien besteht. Der Handlungsbedarf zur Erstellung von allgemeingültigen Kriterien für die Beurteilung polizeilichen Einschreitens bei psychisch kranken bzw. auffälligen Personen wird diskutiert.
