Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieser Teil des Buches behandelt die Herausforderungen und Strategien der Unternehmensnachfolge im deutschen Mittelstand, der für die wirtschaftliche Stabilität und Innovation des Landes von zentraler Bedeutung ist. Angesichts des demografischen Wandels, der Alterung der Babyboomer-Generation und des Fachkräftemangels wird die Suche nach geeigneten Nachfolgern zunehmend schwieriger. Im Beitrag wird die Bedeutung der frühzeitigen Planung und die Einbeziehung von Schlüsselpersonen im Unternehmen hervorgehoben, um einen reibungslosen Übergang zu gewährleisten. Emotionale Aspekte spielen ebenso eine Rolle wie rechtliche und steuerliche Überlegungen. Es werden verschiedene Nachfolgeformen beleuchtet, darunter familieninterne Übergaben, Verkäufe an Mitarbeiter und externe Käufer. Weiterhin werden konkrete Erfolgsstrategien vorgestellt, die in der Praxis erprobt wurden, um eine nachhaltige und erfolgreiche Unternehmensübergabe sicherzustellen. Trotz der aktuellen Herausforderungen bietet die Unternehmensnachfolge auch Chancen zur Erneuerung und Digitalisierung von Geschäftsmodellen sowie zur Transformation des gesamten Unternehmens, die langfristig zur Stärkung des Mittelstands beitragen können.
