Abstract

Zusammenfassung Nach langen Jahren des kontinuierlichen Wachstums durchlebt Deutschland aktuell eine Phase des Umbruchs und des Wandels. Unsicherheit und Volatilität ersetzen Stabilität und Planbarkeit, Veränderungen prägen die aktuelle Situation. Angst und Verunsicherung haben Unternehmen und deren Beschäftigte erfasst. Nicht selten fehlen der Wille und der Mut für notwendige Veränderungen. Die Transformation umfasst auch die Logistik. Gestaltungselemente des Wandels sind Digitalisierung, Automatisierung bis zu Künstlicher Intelligenz. Viel zu lange haben sich Unternehmen gegenüber Innovationen und Neuerungen verschlossen. Jetzt muss in kürzester Zeit die Wende herbeigeführt werden. Diese bietet den Unternehmen jedoch auch Chancen. Mit einer modernen, leistungsfähigen Logistik steigern Unternehmen ihre Wettbewerbsfähigkeit, auch im globalen Vergleich. Der folgende Beitrag soll aufzeigen, welche Ansatzpunkte sich Unternehmen für eine Neugestaltung ihrer Logistik bieten.
