Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem Kapitel werden Indikatoren zum Thema „Sozialer Ausgleich“ vorgestellt, die einen direkten und/oder indirekten Bezug zur Entwicklung von Produktivität und wirtschaftlicher Leistungsfähigkeit. Die Indikatoren sind dabei in die Bereiche Gesundheit, Bildung und Qualifikation, Arbeitsmarkt, demografischer Wandel, Vereinbarkeit von Familie und Erwerbsarbeit; Qualität frühkindlicher und schulischer Betreuung sowie Einkommen unterteilt. Die einzelnen Abschnitte sind so aufgebaut, dass zunächst eine Definition des Indikators erfolgt, gefolgt von Überlegungen welche sich mit Aspekten von Messung, Berechnung und Interpretation der Indikatoren beschäftigen. Anschließend wird für den jeweiligen Indikator, so weit wie möglich, die Positionierung Österreichs im letztverfügbaren Jahr dargestellt sowie eine Entwicklung über die Zeit, seit dem Jahr 2010. Abschließend erfolgt jeweils gesammelt für alle Indikatoren der einzelnen Bereiche eine kurze Diskussion über Implikationen und Verbindungen für die Produktivität.
