Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Europäische Union wächst zunehmend zusammen, und bisher national ausgerichtete Marktteilnehmer blicken vermehrt über ihre Landesgrenzen hinaus. Dieses Vorgehen erhöht jedoch das Risiko, da Unkenntnis über neue Märkte zu volkswirtschaftlichen Risiken durch Fehlinvestitionen führen kann. Datengetriebene Analysen können hier Abhilfe schaffen und haben sich in vielen Branchen bereits durchgesetzt, während die Immobilienbranche bisher hinterherhinkt. Doch auch das ändert sich derzeit langsam, aber sicher, und nicht immer ganz freiwillig. Der Artikel verdeutlicht eindrucksvoll den Weg von den manuellen Anfängen über die Entwicklung nutzerspezifischer Produkte mittels Algorithmen und KI bis hin zu den stetigen Erweiterungsmöglichkeiten dieser Produkte und den daraus entstehenden Vorteilen für die Nutzer – dargestellt am Beispiel des Industrie- und Logistikimmobilienmarktes.
