Abstract

Zusammenfassung Start-ups und plattformbasierte Geschäftsmodelle im Schienengüterverkehr (SGV) nehmen eine zunehmend bedeutende Rolle im Sektor ein. Im nachfolgenden Experteninterview mit Hendrik-Emmanuel Eichentopf und Berit Börke wird beleuchtet, wie Start-ups in diesem Bereich die Digitalisierung der Branche vorantreiben. Es werden Herausforderungen der Plattformmodelle diskutiert, wie bspw. die Markttransparenz, komplexe Geschäftsstrukturen oder die Schwierigkeiten bei der täglichen Nutzung dieser Plattformen. Zudem werden verschiedene, am Markt bestehende Lösungen aufgezeigt und die Unterschiede herausgestellt. Abschließend wird die Bedeutung von Kooperation, Vernetzung und der Entwicklung integrierter Lösungen hervorgehoben, um die Transformation des SGV voranzutreiben.
