Abstract

Zusammenfassung Ludwigsburg, eine Barockstadt in der Region Stuttgart mit ca. 95.000 Einwohner:innen, hat seit 2006 ein integriertes Stadtentwicklungskonzept für die Gesamtstadt. Es war das Ergebnis eines Trialogs zwischen Bürgerschaft, Gemeinderat und Verwaltung. Zuletzt wurde es im Jahr 2023 fortgeschrieben und definiert in heute 12 Handlungsfeldern die strategische Ausrichtung, das Zukunftsprogramm der Stadt. Über die Konkretisierung in Projekten, Maßnahmen oder weiteren Entwicklungskonzepten auf Stadtteilebene wird diese Gesamtstrategie umgesetzt. Indikatoren geben Aufschluss darüber, wo die Stadt jeweils Fortschritte im Sinne der Strategie gemacht hat. Für die Akzeptanz und Wirksamkeit dieser Strategie ist es wichtig, auch in ganz praktischen Tätigkeitsbereichen, nachhaltiges Verwaltungshandeln und eine gemeinwohlorientierte Stadtentwicklung erlebbar zu machen.
