Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Digitalisierung bietet Unternehmen neue Wachstumschancen, wobei die Entwicklung hin zu datenbasierten bzw. datengetriebenen Geschäftsmodellen, Produkten und Dienstleistungen dazu führt, dass die Durchführung von Analysen für das Business Development Controlling zunehmend an Bedeutung gewinnt. Der kompetente Umgang mit großen Datenmengen wird unabdingbar, um im Rahmen von Wachstumsstrategien eine fundierte Entscheidungsgrundlage zu schaffen. Dies führt zu einer verstärkten Nachfrage nach Business Intelligence und Analytics. Die Entwicklung datengetriebener Wachstumsstrategien erfordert spezifische Kompetenzen und den Einsatz von Business Intelligence Analytics Tools. Ein Anwendungsfall zeigt, wie Unternehmen Daten aus unterschiedlichen Quellen nutzen können, um wertvolle Insights für eine datengetriebene Wachstumsstrategie abzuleiten und so die Potentiale der Digital Economy auszuschöpfen.
