Abstract

Zusammenfassung Projektmanagement ist heute in nahezu allen Bereichen der Wirtschaft und des öffentlichen Lebens präsent. Kaum jemand bleibt von Projekten unberührt, sei es als Beteiligter, Verantwortlicher oder Projektleiter. Die Dynamik unserer Zeit bringt stetige Herausforderungen und Veränderungen mit sich, die ein kompetentes Projektmanagement erfordern. Daher ist es für nahezu jeden sinnvoll, grundlegende Projektmanagement-Kompetenzen zu erwerben. Dieses Kapitel klärt zentrale Begriffe, stellt den Projektmanagement-Prozess vor und erläutert die Grundstruktur agiler und hybrider Arbeitsformen. Es präsentiert Phasen- und Vorgehensmodelle, Erkenntnisse der Projekterfolgsforschung und die Methodik des Projektdesigns. Ziel ist es, dem Leser einen fundierten Einstieg in die Welt des Projektmanagements zu bieten und die Basis für das Verständnis der Kompetenzfelder zu legen, die ab Kap. 3 im Detail vorgestellt werden.
