Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das 1990 gegründete Unternehmen AGCO ist mit seinen fünf Kernmarken Challenger, Fendt, PTx, Massey Ferguson und Valtra ein weltweit führender Hersteller für Landmaschinen. Die von AGCO umgesetzte Initiative AGCO Smart Logistics verfolgt das Ziel der Erhöhung der Qualität und Ressourceneffizienz in der End-to-end Supply Chain. Durch gezielten Einsatz eines 4PL-Ansatzes gepaart mit modernsten IT-Lösungen wurde in kürzester Zeit die vormals in 10 Werken dezentral gesteuerte und auf heterogenen Prozessen aufgesetzte Supply Chain-Organisation zentralisiert und standardisiert. Durch Echtzeitverfügbarkeit von Bewegungsdaten kann das Unternehmen zu jeder Zeit den Materialfluss sowie den Abfluss der Endprodukteunternehmensübergreifend steuern, laufend optimieren und somit Kosteneinsparungen von mehr als 25 % erzielen. Gleichzeitig wurde durch Integration einer Risikomanagement-Lösung und standardisierte KPIs die Performance deutlich erhöht.
