Abstract

Zusammenfassung Generative KI markiert eine neue Ära der Interaktion mit künstlicher Intelligenz. Insbesondere große Sprachmodelle (LLMs) ermöglichen die Generierung origineller Inhalte, eröffnen neue Anwendungsfelder, vor allem im Bereich textbasierter Interaktionen, und sind heute zentrale Bausteine vieler Anwendungen. Das Kapitel beleuchtet die Verarbeitung natürlicher Sprache, Design und Funktionsweise von LLMs, und zeigt verschiedene Strategien auf, um diese Technologie in professionellen Anwendungen zu nutzen. Zu den besprochenen Lösungsstrategien gehören Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, Finetuning und der Einsatz autonomer KI-Agenten. Empfehlungen aus der Praxis und ein kurzer Ausblick auf aktuelle und zukünftige Trends runden das Kapitel ab.
