Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Beitrag befasst sich mit der Bedeutung und den Herausforderungen einer KI-Ethik vor dem Hintergrund des technologischen Wandels, der kollektive Verunsicherung und das Bedürfnis nach Regulierung auslöst. Dabei wird der Unterschied zwischen Ethik und Moral diskutiert und aufgezeigt, dass Ethik eine tiefere Reflexion der vorhandenen Gewohnheiten verlangt, anstatt lediglich Regeln aufzustellen. Sofern aber genau das verlangt wird, ist es notwendig, von der Praxis ausgehend Richtlinien zu entwickeln, die mehr bzw. etwas anderes sind als eine Deduktion aus abstrakten normativen Theorien. Auf Basis dieser Überlegungen werden zentrale Werte wie Transparenz, Fairness, Respekt, Verantwortung und Kompetenz eingeführt bzw. diskutiert, die als Grundlage dienen sollen, um der Diskriminierung, Herabwürdigung, Instrumentalisierung etc. entgegenzuwirken. Ziel der KI-Ethik ist es nicht bloß, dass einzelne Personen ihr Verhalten ändern, sondern insbesondere gesellschaftliche Machtverhältnisse und Produktionsbedingungen kritisch zu hinterfragen.
