Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieses Kapitel beleuchtet den rationalen Entscheidungsprozess und die damit verbundenen Herausforderungen in der Führung. Ein effektiver Entscheidungsprozess umfasst typischerweise fünf Phasen: Problemdefinition, Informationssammlung, Entwicklung von Alternativen, Bewertung und Auswahl sowie Implementierung. Die klare Definition des Problems und die gezielte Informationssammlung sind dabei entscheidend, um relevante Daten zu nutzen und eine Tendenz zum Status quo zu verhindern. Hinsichtlich der Teamführung ist es wichtig, die Balance zwischen intuitivem und analytischem Denken zu wahren, um impulsive Entscheidungen zu verhindern. Zudem sollten Führungskräfte klare Entscheidungsrahmen setzen und Verzerrungen erkennen. Als Ergebnis dieser Überlegungen werden fünf verschiedene Schlüsselkomponenten für die erfolgreiche Führung von Entscheidungsprozessen vorgestellt und diskutiert. Sie beinhalten (a) riskante, kollektive Entscheidungen mit Prioritäten zu strukturieren, (2) Teamdynamiken zu verstehen, (3) brillant zwischen Entscheidungsparteien zu kommunizieren, (4) Konflikte umsichtig zu entschärfen und (5) die Partizipation mit klarer Zielsetzung zu fördern.
