Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieser Beitrag untersucht das Potenzial, die ethischen Risiken und die Regulierung von Künstlicher Intelligenz (KI). Es beschreibt, wie KI durch Automatisierung von Entscheidungen zur Effizienzsteigerung und Verbesserung der Lebensqualität beiträgt, warnt aber auch vor Risiken wie Diskriminierung durch Verzerrungen (Biases), mangelnder Transparenz (Opazität) und Machtmonopolen durch Datenakkumulation. Die Autoren analysieren regulatorische Herausforderungen, betonen die Notwendigkeit ethischer Standards und präsentieren internationale und nationale Regulierungsansätze, darunter den EU AI Act als Vorbild. Sie argumentieren, dass Selbstregulierung ergänzend wirken kann, jedoch staatliche Regulierung wohl unerlässlich bleibt. Abschliessend wird betont, dass ein ausgewogenes Regulierungsumfeld erforderlich ist, um Innovationen zu fördern und gleichzeitig gesellschaftliche Werte zu schützen. KI birgt enormes Transformationspotenzial, doch die Balance zwischen technologischem Fortschritt und ethischen Standards ist entscheidend, um gesellschaftlichen Nutzen zu maximieren und Risiken zu minimieren.
