Abstract

Zusammenfassung In den letzten Jahren kam es zu einem regelrechten Exodus von Personal auf den Schweizer Intensivstationen. Der Spitalbetrieb kann nur durch Migration von hochspezialisiertem Intensivpflegefachpersonal und temporären Angestellten aufrechterhalten werden. Welche Ursachen den frühzeitigen Berufsausstieg von Intensivpflegepersonal begünstigen und welche Gegenmassnahmen ergriffen werden sollten, wurden als empirische Forschungsarbeit untersucht. Durch die Digitalisierung kann der Fachkräftemangel zwar nicht direkt aufgehalten werden, aber es können fehlende Ressourcen erschaffen werden, welche für eine Verbesserung der Arbeitskonditionen und Erleichterung der Arbeit auf der Intensivstation sorgen und damit indirekt die Zufriedenheit der Intensivpflegenden im Berufsalltag steigern.
