Digitalisierungsstrategien im Gesundheitswesen

Abstract

Zusammenfassung Ein wirkungsvolles Gesundheitssystem ist ein zentraler Erfolgsfaktor einer funktionierenden Gesellschaft. Neuartige Lösungsansätze mit digitalen Bestandteilen unterstützen dabei, gegebene Herausforderungen wie steigende Komplexität und Kosten zu adressieren. Die Digitalisierung ist jedoch eine komplexe Materie, die es in ihrer thematischen Gesamtheit zu verstehen gilt – und insbesondere als eine strategische Aufgabe einer Gesundheitsorganisation. Entlang eines wissenschaftlich erarbeiteten Digital Transformation Frameworks für Smart Health zeigt der Autor einerseits zentrale Erfolgsfaktoren für ein modernes strategisches Arbeiten auf und ergänzt diese andererseits mit einem Ansatz zur thematischen Einordnung von digitalen Entwicklungsvorhaben in Gesundheitsorganisationen. Dabei sind grundsätzlich alle Personen angesprochen, die sich in den Handlungsfeldern Digital Strategie, Patienten-/Kundenerlebnisse, Lösungen & Dienste, Kultur/Führung/Organisation, Daten & Prozesse sowie Digital-Funktionen (Technologie) inspirieren lassen möchten. Das erwähnte Digital Transformation Framework für Smart Health ist in dieser Publikation in seiner grundsätzlichen Form beschrieben und mit nützlichen Tool-/Methodenangaben ergänzt (Übersichten/Checklisten). Eine nachhaltige Entwicklung des Gesundheitswesens benötigt organisationsübergreifende Abstimmungen in interdisziplinären Themen, welche stets individuell nach Ausgangs- und Zielsituation betrachtet und angegangen werden müssen. Ein zwar theoretisches gehaltenes, jedoch nach wissenschaftlichen Gütekriterien ausgearbeitetes und mit Praxiserfahrung erprobtes, Framework bietet hoffentlich einen wirkungsvollen Orientierungsrahmen an.
