Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieser Artikel beschäftigt sich mit dem Thema Gender Bias in der funktionellen Gestaltung von Mobilitäts-Apps im deutschsprachigen Raum. Angesichts der weltweiten Nutzungstrends, die Frauen als Hauptnutzerinnen öffentlicher Verkehrsmittel sehen, ist es verwunderlich, dass deren besondere Ansprüche an eine sichere, zugängliche und situationsbedingte Mobilität nicht ausreichend in digitalen Lösungen berücksichtigt werden. Denn Mobilitäts-Apps werden vor allem an dem Nutzungsverhalten und den Reisebedürfnissen von alleinreisenden, jungen Männern ausgerichtet. (Becker & Herling, 2017; Reidl, 2021) Demnach ist in dem Beitrag zu lesen, wie Produktteams eine gender-sensitive Produktkonzeption gestalten können, welche die Bedürfnisse aller Reisenden ausgewogen in den Mittelpunkt stellen. Konkret geht es um die Vermeidung von Gender Stereotypisierung in der Produktarbeit.
