Abstract

Zusammenfassung Up-to-date micro data on spatial structure and mobility behavior become increasingly important for transport planning. The research project „VerBindungen“ (funded by German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport) investigated chances and restrictions of integrating micro data from official statistics and mobile network data (MND) (Statistisches Bundesamt et.al. 2024). Information retrieval from MND is a modeling process requiring various data sources for calibrabration and validation. However some information needed to eleminate biases in MND raw data is still not available in Germany. Therefore new suryeys on mobile phone usage and data quality standards for MND based information production are required to help MND gain an adaquate role in transport planning.
