Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der vorliegende Beitrag verfolgt das Ziel, anhand eines aktuellen Planungsgegenstandes (i) die vorherrschende planungspraktische (Re)Produktion von Verkehrs- und Mobilitätshierarchien zugunsten des Systems privater Automobilität sichtbar zu machen und zu problematisieren, um darauf aufbauend (ii) für Wege aus dem Fundus strategischer Planung zu sensibilisieren und über mögliche Einschreibungen multimodaler Strukturmomente in die gebaute, autozentrierte Umwelt einen Enthierarchisierungsprozess weg von der Automobilität hin zur Multimodalität anzustoßen. Dafür wird nachfolgend der Begriff der „Multimodalisierung“ als planungspraktischer Imperativ vorgeschlagen.
