Abstract

Zusammenfassung New Work verändert die Arbeitswelt. Die damit einhergehende Flexibilisierung von Arbeitsformen und Arbeitsprozessen verdeutlicht sich in einer New Order, in der Fragen von Arbeitsgestaltung und Arbeitsschutz neu gedacht werden. Orchestrierte Arbeits(schutz)gestaltung als Handlungsimperativ lenkt den Fokus von formalen Strukturprinzipien hin zu Führungsverhalten, Partizipation und Kompetenzniveaus. Im Sinne eines Orchesters obliegt den Arbeitgebenden die Pflicht, anhand betrieblicher Kontexte und zusammen mit den Beschäftigten ein Arbeitsschutzstück zu komponieren und umzusetzen. New Work bietet Chancen auf eine Neuinterpretation menschengerechter Arbeitsgestaltung. Beherrschen alle Beteiligten ihre Instrumente, gelingt es durch New Control, ein Stück zu spielen, das nicht nur Sicherheit und Gesundheit bei der Arbeit gewährleistet, sondern zugleich Arbeitszufriedenheit erhöht.
