Abstract

Zusammenfassung Vor dem Hintergrund von Wettbewerbsdruck und Fachkräftemangel werden Produktivitätssteigerungen immer herausfordernder. Ohnehin sind sie nicht der einzige Schlüssel zum Erfolg. Vielmehr geht es darum, die mentale Gesundheit der Mitarbeitenden in den Vordergrund zu stellen und durch Flexibilisierung von Arbeitszeiten mehr Individualität zu ermöglichen und zu fördern. Insbesondere im Bereich der Schichtarbeit steht dem jedoch die in der Regel zeitliche und örtliche Gebundenheit der Leistungserbringung entgegen. Durch eine fortschreitende Digitalisierung und die Weiterentwicklung Künstlicher Intelligenz ergeben sich jedoch dennoch verschiedene Möglichkeiten. In dem Beitrag werden fünf Beispiele für eine verbesserte Personaleinsatzplanung mithilfe Künstlicher Intelligenz (KI) vorgestellt und ein kurzer Ausblick auf zukünftige Herausforderungen gegeben.
