Abstract

Zusammenfassung Als soziopolitisches und arbeitsrechtliches Thema resultiert die verstärkte öffentliche Diskussion zur Nutzung von Homeoffice in unseren Unternehmen im Wesentlichen aus der Corona-Krisensituation. Der Versuch der sachlichen Erforschung generationenbezogener Charakteristika und damit auch der Lösungswege, um den Arbeitsmarkt bei der Gratwanderung von Fachkräftemangel und Work-Life-Balance-Anspruch sinnführend zu begleiten, gerät zunehmend in hoch emotionale, Schuld suchende Fahrwasser. In den Hintergrund geraten ist die schon seit vielen Jahren existente Praxis in unseren Unternehmen, das mobile Arbeiten für Mitarbeitende durch paritätische Absprachen, Richtlinien und/oder mitbestimmungsrechtliche Vereinbarungen zu ermöglichen. In diesem Spannungsfeld befinden sich Produktionsunternehmen, die durch eine mögliche gesetzliche Vorgabe ihre wirtschaftliche Stabilität gefährden würden, sich dennoch den gesellschaftspolitischen Standards in einem engen Arbeitsmarkt stellen müssen.
