Abstract

Zusammenfassung Homeoffice, mobile Arbeit, hybride Modelle – all diese Konzepte sind fester Bestandteil einer zunehmend dezentralisierten, flexibilisierten Arbeitswelt. In anderen Worten: sie alle fallen unter den Sammelbegriff „New Work“. Die Fünf-Tage-Woche in Präsenz scheint der Vergangenheit anzugehören. Arbeit findet heutzutage fast gänzlich orts- und zeitunabhängig statt. Vorangetrieben wurde diese Entwicklung durch die zunehmende Digitalisierung und sich verändernde Lebensmodelle, die eine flexiblere Arbeitswelt erfordern. Während dezentrales Arbeiten viele Vorteile für Arbeitnehmer und -geber bietet, bringt es auch reale Konsequenzen für den Arbeitsschutz mit sich. Bis dato werden neuere Formen der Arbeit noch nicht ausreichend in Gesetzen und Verordnungen abgebildet. Um in der digitalisierten, dezentralisierten Arbeitswelt bestehen zu können, bedarf es weitreichender Anpassungen an die Herausforderungen von „New Work“.
