Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Anfänge des Change-Managements reichen mehr als 80 Jahre zurück und heute stehen viele Modelle zur Verfügung, um Veränderungsprojekte zu initiieren und zu implementieren, sodass die Anpassungsleistung an eine sich schnell ändernde Umwelt gelingt. Allerdings werden noch zu viele Konzepte aus den 1990er-Jahren in der Praxis eingesetzt, obwohl andere Vorgehensweisen angebracht wären. Eine explizite Berücksichtigung von Emotionen findet nur rudimentär statt und Ideen wie die Change-Kurve finden sich immer noch im Einsatz. Die Relevanz der Organisationskultur für das Change-Management wird im Hinblick auf die Sichtbarmachung der förderlichen Aspekte dargestellt. Auch werden innovative Konzeptionalisierungen wie der Einsatz von IT im Change-Management beschrieben und gewürdigt, um der Entwicklung Rechnung zu tragen.
