Abstract

Zusammenfassung Eine erfolgreiche Restrukturierung resultiert in einem stabilen und profitablen operativen Tagesgeschäft sowie in der langfristigen Wettbewerbsfähigkeit des Unternehmens. Ein gesundes Vertrauen in die eigenen Fähigkeiten ist gut. Dennoch sollte ergänzend der Restrukturierungsfortschritt und die Leistungserbringung des Unternehmens regelmäßig anhand objektiver Daten gemessen werden. Die Leistungserbringung kann in den Dimensionen Strategie (welche Fortschritte macht das Unternehmen bei der Realisierung seiner Vision und der strategischen Ziele), Operations (erbringt das Unternehmen im operativen Tagesgeschäft die geplante Leistung) und Restrukturierung (verläuft der Wandel des Unternehmens in den geplanten Bahnen und wo gibt es zusätzlichen Handlungsbedarf) erfasst und steuerbar gemacht werden. Daten werden durch Analyse zu Informationen. Informationen werden durch zielgerechte Kommunikation zu Managementwerkzeugen. Erfolg ist bei alle dem relativ. Zum einen können vermeintlich große Erfolge aus Sicht des Unternehmens für den Wettbewerb im Markt immer noch unzureichend sein. Zum anderen geht es nicht um absolut beste Ergebnisse, sondern darum, besser zu sein als die Konkurrenz. Insbesondere in den wettbewerbsentscheidenden Disziplinen.
