Abstract

Zusammenfassung Strategische Initiativen dienen dazu, Maßnahmen zur Erreichung der strategischen Ziele in einer sowohl synergetisch kongruenten als auch für die Umsetzung anwendbaren sowie kommunizierbaren Logik zu bündeln. Es ist notwendig, dass die strategischen Initiativen die drei Bereiche ESG einschließlich der relevanten Unterbereiche umfassen. Ein Querschnittsthema, welches sich durch das gesamte Unternehmen, ja sogar quer über die gesamte Wertschöpfungskette des Unternehmens legt, ist jenes der Dekarbonisierung. Dieses gilt es daher besonders durchdacht und systematisch zu behandeln. Zur Messung des Fortschritts auf dem Weg zur Zielerreichung ist es notwendig, relevante Initiativen und Maßnahmen mit Kennzahlen zu hinterlegen. Somit bildet eine gut durchdachte und sinnvoll ausgelegte ESG-Kennzahlentabelle ein wesentliches Rückgrat zur strategischen Steuerung der gesamten Nachhaltigkeitstransformation eines Unternehmens.
