Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das strategische Nachhaltigkeitsprogrammdesign beinhaltet mehrere Schlüsselelemente, die je nach Ausformulierung dem Aufbau strategischer Wettbewerbsvorteile dienlich oder hinderlich sein können. Dazu gehören die klare Formulierung einer Vision oder eines Purpose, der als Anker und Motivator für alle Stakeholder dient. Ebenso wichtig ist die Festlegung messbarer, ambitionierter und realistischer Ziele entlang eines vorgegebenen Pfads. Sie zeichnet sich durch Berücksichtigung von E, S, G aus, sowie durch Einfachheit, Transparenz, Authentizität und Kongruenz zur Unternehmensstrategie. Die Elemente einer professionellen Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie umfassen die Umfeldanalyse, eine Wesentlichkeitsmatrix, die Vision und Mission, Ziele, Initiativen, sowie Know-how, Zertifizierungen, eine professionelle Kommunikation und den Umgang mit Ratings. So entwickelt ein Unternehmen eine effektive Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie.
