Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Biotechnologie befindet sich derzeit in der Krise. Nach Pandemie, Finanzkrise und geopolitischen Veränderungen mit einer drohenden Rezession in Deutschland und Europa fehlen die notwendigen Rahmenbedingungen und Anreize, um die vorhandenen Innovationen in marktfähige und nachhaltige Produkte zu entwickeln. Klassische Rezepte versagen in diesem Umfeld und internationale Biotech Cluster sind auf dem Vormarsch. Nur durch Iangfristige Investitionen in vorhandene digitale Schlüsseltechnologien wie Künstliche Intelligenz und Quantentechnologien kann ein Wiedereinstieg in die weltweite Spitze der Biotechnologie gelingen.
